I came across this little tech tip while swapping seats in the CSX Clone. This is one of many differences betwwen teh '87 and '88 P-body interiors. |

At
first glance the seat rails look very similar

A closer look shows the mounting flanges are different 1987 are almost vertical, and the 1988 are near 45 degrees from vertical |

The
mounting holes in the floor pan have the same features

Luckily, for seat swapping purposes, the rail mounting holes are a very close match. Notice the differences in the seat design |
